Dear Aurorians,

Since our public sale, we have been really busy working on the project. First of all, we have been actively hiring and there is currently over 28 people currently trying to make Aurory one of the biggest play-to-earn game ever.

We are actively expanding the team targeting experienced hires with the goal of building one of the best teams in the industry while allowing ourselves to build everything in house, avoiding outsourcing to teams that are not as familiar with our vision.

If you are interested in joining, reach out at jobs@aurory.io ; we are mostly looking for: Rust/React developers, and experienced marketers with a deep cryptocurrency understanding to co-lead our marketing effort and to work with a significant budget. If you believe you could add something to the team and have brilliant ideas, reach out with a resume and explaining why you would be a great addition!

New Head of Production:

We are thrilled to announce to you that we have found our Executive Producer / Head of Production. Jonathan Campeau joined full-time to help us scale efficiently over the years to come. Our main goal is to maintain a position as the leading gaming project in the space, and for that, we are looking for great elements to strengthen our team.

Jonathan’s career is quite unique, and so we asked him to write a short summary for you all to learn more about him as well as why we are confident he can help make Aurory a play-to-earn giant.

My career began in quality assurance in early 2003. Back then, companies such as Ubisoft recruited massively and I found myself testing XIII on PC as a summer job.

I quickly rose through the ranks of being a team lead and project manager. I left Ubisoft to work for Gameloft for a little more than 2 years, and then decided to join EA Mobile.

I decided to go back to Ubisoft around 2009 to work on Prince of Persia, Scott Pilgrim and Microsoft Kinect projects Ubisoft had in production at the time.

Fast forward to today, and I have worked in so many different roles and on many different IPs, from managing a QA team, doing business development and developer relations, overseeing the narrative and character production of AAA games such as Far Cry 4 and Far Cry Primal. Managing the gameplay and co-development teams on Hyperscape.
(Fun fact: I’m the brain behind Pagan Min taking a selfie with the player, early on in the game)

I even produced VR games for a little over a year in 2017–2018 on the experimental side with a small team.

For the past 2 years, my focus has been heavily on leading a new department at Ubisoft, focusing exclusively on art production for AAA games and store content (MTX).

I’ve been part of the live ops teams on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising and Far Cry 6. Part of my objective is to keep innovating how Ubisoft is building their in-game stores and optimize the production of huge quantity of assets.

I have been fortunate to touch so many different roles in my career. I believe strongly that it allows me to have a unique perspective on game development.

I plan on bringing this expertise to Aurory and help deliver a truly groundbreaking and revolutionary experience in the NFT-gaming space

He contributed to ship a lot of projects you probably played at a point:
Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 4, Just Dance 3 Kinect, Michael Jackson Kinect, Scott Pilgrim vs The World Game, Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands to name a few.

Having a lot of experienced members of the team will allow us to make sure our games remain at the forefront of the play-to-earn industry in the long run, and that Aurory is able to still be there in a while, building and shipping unique projects as a gaming studio.

Staking, new version and dashboard:

On another note, we recently launched the pilot version of our staking pool, with no lock-ups on rewards and staked balances. We are currently finishing up the latest version that will be released at the end of the month, with a very intuitive dashboard and the ability to lock the amount you stake in order to receive more rewards.

We have currently approximately $30,000,000 staked in the pool, which is already a big milestone for us! The APR is around 44% at the time of writing.

We hope that you will like the new version even more.

What’s coming next?

We are working on securing high level partnerships with strong brands in the traditional gaming industry, and we cannot wait until everything is live to show you what we have been working on recently!

$AURY is already listed on FTX, Kucoin, Orca and Raydium. We are on our way to list the token on more exchanges but the process takes time with all the due diligence and the regulatory hurdles.

We recently crossed 150,000 followers on Twitter, and are looking to double that quickly! If you are interested in contributing or have the will to become a team member and help lead this marketing effort, refer to the email displayed at the start of this article!

As a final word, we wanted to thank every single one of you for the great support!
